Key Responsibilities of a Financial Representative
  • Understand and Serve Members' Needs: Build meaningful relationships with clients to understand their financial goals and concerns, then provide personalized financial strategies to help them plan for retirement, education, protection, and legacy planning.
  • Deliver Tailored Financial Solutions: Offer guidance on life insurance, annuities, investment products, and other financial tools that align with each member’s unique circumstances and life stage.
  • Maintain Ethical and Professional Standards: Uphold the highest level of integrity, transparency, and compliance while educating clients and empowering them to make informed decisions.
  • Exemplify Community Leadership: Represent Modern Woodmen through active involvement in local events, nonprofits, volunteer efforts, and civic organizations—helping strengthen your community while building trust and visibility.
  • Grow a Professional Practice: Develop and manage a growing client base through referrals, networking, outreach efforts, and community engagement. Track progress using effective business planning and time management techniques.
  • Promote Modern Woodmen’s Mission: Support the organization’s fraternal mission by organizing or participating in member events, community impact programs, and charitable initiatives that reflect the values of service, stewardship, and connection.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of a Life Insurance License and/or SIE Certification (if not licensed having an openness to quickly obtain)
  • Series 26 (or 24) License (preferred)
  • Leadership skills and effective communication ability
  • Strong background in business development, customer focused marketing or customer service, with the desire and ability to lead others

  • Time in Seat: 7 years in Wanatah, Indiana.
  • Outside of Work: Loves outdoor activities with his wife and spending quality time with friends and family.
  • About: Focuses on fostering strong personal and financial relationships.
Amanda Meyer - Financial Advisor
  • Prior Experience: Former counselor, now a Financial Advisor at MWA.
  • Time in Seat: 1 year in the financial sector.
  • Outside of Work: Plays professional soccer for Indy Eleven.
  • About: Originally from Cincinnati, now living in Indianapolis, dedicated to blending her skills in counseling with financial advising.
