  • Previous experience: Pediatric Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse, with a strong background in critical decision-making, advocacy, and family care.
  • Passionate about: Spending time with her family, including her husband, a Fort Lauderdale firefighter and veteran, and their two sons, ice hockey and cheering on the Florida Panthers; hosting Sunday dinners with her entire family.
Michael Velez, Growth Development Director:
  • Time with NM: Since 2018
  • Previous experience: Led teams in the call center industry, building a strong foundation in leadership, performance development, and team growth.
  • Passionate about: Helping others professionally and within the community; serving on the board of Florida Atlantic University; educating and empowering the Spanish community on financial options and financial freedom; prioritizing wellness through breathwork, sauna, and cold plunges; enjoying soccer (especially Real Madrid), tennis, and pickleball; married with two children. 
Caleb Posey, CFP®, Financial Advisor:
  • Time with NM: 4.5 years
  • Previous experience: Accounting background, including auditing regional healthcare entities and prior experience in tax preparation.
  • Passionate about: Spending time with family and his girlfriend, Lia; staying active through pickleball; traveling locally and internationally; exploring new restaurants; spending time on or near the water; catching up on the latest TV series; training for the Lunar New Year Half Marathon in Biscayne Bay; watching Florida Panthers hockey, Miami Heat basketball, and playoff football.  
Francois Truong, Growth Development Director:
  • Time with NM: 4 years
  • Previous experience: Director of Player Development at Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, managing relationships with high-value clients and leading the Asian Marketing team to enhance client experience and market growth; ventures in real estate fix-and-flips and the fitness apparel industry.
  • Passionate about: Spending quality time with family through cooking, outings, and actively participating in his children’s sports practices; maintaining a healthy lifestyle through fitness and gym routines; exploring new culinary experiences and cooking new dishes.
Craig Jay McLane, CFP®, ChFC®, CLTC®, Wealth Management Advisor and Growth and Development Director:
  • Time with NM: 9 years
  • Previous experience: Joined Northwestern Mutual after graduating from the College of William and Mary, where he played collegiate baseball.
  • Passionate about: Spending time with his wife, son, cat Fin, and dog Leo; scuba diving; watching professional sports; hosting barbecues with friends; spending time on the water.

As a Financial Planner you will play a critical role in helping clients secure their financial futures through comprehensive insurance solutions. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Client Assessment: Evaluate clients' financial needs and goals to recommend appropriate insurance products.
  • Customized Solutions: Develop personalized insurance plans that align with clients' long-term financial strategies.
  • Relationship Building: Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, offering continuous support and advice as their needs evolve.
  • Product Knowledge: Stay informed about the latest insurance products and industry trends to provide clients with the best options available.
  • Compliance and Ethics: Ensure all recommendations and sales comply with company policies and regulatory requirements, maintaining the highest ethical standards.
