Kacee Howes – Managing Director:
  • Time with NM: 17 years.
  • Prior Experience: Began her career with Northwestern Mutual as an intern and has grown within the organization since 2008, advancing from College Financial Representative to Financial Advisor and into leadership roles including College Unit Director and District Director.
  • Passionate About: Kacee is passionate about developing others, particularly mentoring and empowering women in finance. She is deeply committed to her family and the St. Petersburg community, actively supporting organizations such as Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation and participating as a Leadership St. Petersburg alumna. A Clemson graduate, she leads a nationally recognized, top-performing team and was recently featured on FOX13 discussing financial topics.
Trina O’Connell – Financial Advisor:
  • Time with NM: 12 years.
  • Prior Experience: Joined Northwestern Mutual in 2014 and was inspired through her personal faith to dedicate her career to helping families through financial planning.
  • Passionate About: Trina is passionate about helping families, especially those with special needs children, in honor of her late sister Amanda. She enjoys spending time with her extended family and being an aunt to her eight nieces and nephews. A proud USF alumna, she is also active in several local nonprofits and lives in St. Petersburg with her husband Austin and their cat, Grayson.
David Condron – Financial Advisor:
  • Time with NM: 23 years.
  • Prior Experience: Chose a career in financial services after growing up in a business minded family and witnessing the impact of inadequate planning following a family loss. He attended Florida State University and the University of South Florida and holds the CLTC® designation.
  • Passionate About: David is passionate about building honest, authentic relationships and serving as a trusted advisor to his clients. Outside of work, he enjoys the outdoors, including camping, fishing, boating, and spending time enjoying life in St. Petersburg.
Aleesha Pheasant – Financial Advisor:
  • Time with NM: 5 years.
  • Prior Experience: Built her career at Northwestern Mutual focusing on helping clients align their financial success with their personal values and long-term vision.
  • Passionate About: Aleesha is passionate about working with families and female business owners, executives, and leaders to help them create meaningful, balanced lives. She is a devoted mother to her two children and married to her high school sweetheart, Spencer. Her drive comes from helping clients bring their personal goals and financial plans together to achieve the life they envision.
About the Financial Representative Role: As a Financial Representative at Northwestern Mutual, you will be part of a team that helps individuals and businesses achieve their financial goals through personalized insurance solutions and financial planning. Your role involves building long-term relationships with clients, understanding their unique needs, and providing tailored financial solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Client Consultation: Engage with clients to understand their financial goals, aspirations, and concerns.
  • Financial Planning: Develop comprehensive financial plans that include investments, insurance, and retirement.
  • Insurance Solutions: Recommend and implement insurance strategies to protect clients' assets and income.
  • Ongoing Support: Monitor clients' financial plans and provide regular updates, adjusting strategies as needed to meet changing circumstances.
  • Networking: Build and maintain a network of clients through referrals, community involvement, and professional associations.
Qualifications:
  • Education: A bachelor's degree is strongly preferred.
  • Experience: Previous experience in financial services, insurance or business development is beneficial but not required.
  • Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to build trust and rapport with clients.
  • Licenses: Obtain necessary licenses, such as Series 6, 63, and state insurance licenses (training and sponsorship available).
